Well, nothing yet. A checkup yesterday revealed no contractions, but the baby is doing great. The doctors are sticking with a May 25th due date, so no talk of inducing until a certain time period past that window.
I'm happy that she is keeping in close contact with her counselor, and that we are getting periodic updates, because my mind just wanders in all kinds of directions. Staying present and focused is barely possible. Crazy-ass scenarios pop up on an hourly basis (thanks TV), and I have to fight hard to breathe, calm down, and realize that a) Not likely to happen, and b) We have no rights to this baby until the parents sign the TPR. The attempt to stay detached has gone away since we decided on a name and I can't stop thinking of the baby as _______.
