Last week our house didn't clear 60 degrees, in fact, we got a kick out of checking the thermostat in the morning to see how low it would go. 55 degrees in case you were wondering. On top of that we had the washing machine problem. Two wonderful things happened this weekend:
1. We found a reasonably priced washer and dryer (L.G. based on many recommendations) that was available for pick up and the dryer was a scratch&dent. Score! We didn't spend as much money as we thought and saved us a trip to the laundromat, an annoyance I really couldn't handle given the fact I had to work and teach a couple extra classes this weekend.
2. Yesterday was gorgeous! I planted everything that had been languishing in our house the past week, we went for a long walk, and I even managed to get my presentation for work done.
Today is even warmer and I heard something about 80 degrees at the end of the week. Yay!

Brrrr.....55 inside is COLD! I'm glad you found a W/D and didn't have to hang out at the laundromat.

I know exactly how you feel. We have had the longest winter! We finally had a lovely, warm weekend and I'm praying it lasts.
