It's snowing.
Of course this would be the year that our boiler crapped out in March. It can't be like the year we got married when we were in a drought and it was 100 degrees before the end of May and almost 100 degrees the day we got married in a small church minus air-conditioning. Oh no, it has to keep getting cold so that I curse the fact that I put away all my sweaters already (old house = no closet space). *sigh* At least the storm will be over soon and next week is supposed to be nice.
Yesterday was my 36th birthday. I'm not too fond of my birthday occurring around Mother's Day these past few years and every year it's been a tick of "one more year and no baby yet". S took me out to dinner on Saturday night and we had a good time hanging out in a neighborhood bar drinking and playing Scr.abble. The drinking part usually makes the game go slower but I was on a roll and kicked butt.
Glad you had a good game and some good drinks! You're almost there....I can feel it. :-)
ReplyDeleteThey always say, if you don't like the weather in Colorado just wait 10 minutes but seriously, this spring has been rediculous. I'd even venture to say cruel. But I'm a fair weather gal raised and still living in CO. I really should be over it by now!

Drinking beer and playing Scr.abble sounds awesome. I'd lose of course but I'd have fun making up words.
ReplyDeleteWe had hail. Awesome.
Happy late birthday!
